What does UnitedHealthcare Group do?

UnitedHealth Group Incorporated is a diversified health care company with having 4 segments like 1) UnitedHealthcare, 2) Optum-Health, 3) Optum-Insight, and 4) Optum-Rx. These segment offers consumer-oriented health services to individuals, government employers, midsized corporate employers and small businesses people.

Optum-Health provides networking of health specialists, care delivery, health management services, , financial services and consumer engagement. This segment serves individuals directly through care delivery systems, employers, payers, and government entities. 

Optum - Insight offers software and IT products. With this they manage outsourcing of advisory consulting like physicians, pharma & other life science companies and other organizations. 

Optum-Rx for pharmacy services. This is mainly includes home delivery, special compounding pharmacy, drug adherence, diseased therapy, purchasing of clinical capabilities, etc.

How does UnitedHealthcare make money?

UHG earns from insurance premium, services fee, sales and also through various investments. 

B / R Indicator:

It is a Red Line position with respect to Blue Line position. If Blue Line crosses above Red Line, it is a bullish sign and vice versa. It gives very good results in Daily time frame. It helps to determine Stop Loss placement. Whenever Stop Loss triggers, stock becomes very jittery in opposite direction.  R/B Indicator is built on mathematical polynomial with using standard other indicators like RSI, MACD, Moving Averages, etc. We have used following parameters to determine B/R Indicator of standard indicator as under:

RSI: We utilized 14 days period RSI. It is percentage of total Gain during 14 days with respect to total of (Gain + Loss). It shows strength of Gain in percentage during 14 days.  The RSI plots this result on a scale of 0 to 100. RSI below 30 generally indicate that the stock is oversold, while readings above 70 indicate that it is overbought. 

MACD: Moving average convergence divergence (MACD) is a momentum indicator that shows the relationship between two moving averages of a Stock. In general, two moving average selected are 26 period and 12 period, that is, 12 minus 26  and result is called MACD. A moving average involved either can be Exponential, Simple, etc. Here 12 period moving average is called Fast and  26 period moving average is called Slow moving average. If MACD is positive stock is in bullish position and vice versa. There is another Signal Line which is a moving average of MACD itself. Generally, it is 9 period. It becomes datum line to observe crossovers.  If MACD line crosses above to Signal Line, it is bullish sign and vice versa. MACD is always notified as for example MACD (12,26,9). Here 12 represents a moving average of the previous 12 bars, 26 represents a moving average of the previous 26 bars, 9 represents a moving average of the MACD which is the Signal Line.
